I would rate The Cousins a 4 out of 5 stars because it had a lot of cliff hangers and made me want to keep reading. I liked how the characters were relatable and were not the typical teenagers that are shown in books. The ending felt a bit rushed because of how sudden everything was and it did not seem finished but hopefully, that’s because there is a sequel coming. I liked how it had each person's point-of-view, although it felt a bit confusing having Allison’s point-of-view and not any of the other siblings. The writing kept me engaged because I always wanted to know what the other cousins were thinking and how they felt about the scenario. Overall, it was a good book because of the twist and turns and mystery involved.
