Growing up, my favorite actor was always Adam Sandler. Doesn't matter what movie he was in, he always made me laugh. Combined with David Spade, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, and Chris Rock, this movie will make you non-stop laugh. While watching this movie I always thought “ is this really what my Dad and his friends do?”. The storyline really makes it feel like you’re apart of the family and experiencing everything with them. And growing up and rewatching the movie I keep noticing different things they said that I now understand that I didn't back then. Overall, this is a great movie to bring the family together and just have a good laugh. Rating: 5/5 stars @Jiraiya of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board This movie is one of my childhood favourites. I loved this movie because it is one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen. This movie is about childhood friends reuniting under bad circumstances and making the best out of their trip. This movie featured a lot of huge actors and stand up comics which made it much more popular. The actors in this movie are also friends in real life which made them have such good chemistry in the movie. In my opinion this movie was an original idea and has been a favourite movie by many people for a long time. Although this movie had some vulgar language and adult scenes, therefore I wouldn’t recommend it for all ages or at least for you to watch with a guardian. I rate this movie a solid 4/5 and hope that you enjoy it like I did. @ButterChicken of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board Grown Ups is a famous comedy movie starring adam sandler. Now all grown up working in hollywood he receives a call that his childhood basketball coach has passed away. He then brings his family to his hometown staying in a cabin with his four lifelong friends and their families. This trip creates a strong bond between them and their kids, creating new memories no one will forget. I would recommend this movie because its extremely heartwarming and funny, Adam Sandler is an amazing actor and creates a captivating atmosphere. @GoosReviews of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library This movie showcases all the different types of grown-ups, and most importantly, all the different types of parents and families. All five men have lived very different lives since playing on the same basketball team when they were younger, but now that their coach has died they are reunited at the funeral where their families collide and they begin to reconnect. This movie is very entertaining and funny at times, even though the acting isn’t very great and the script is over-played. However, I would still rate it 3.5/5 stars and recommend it as one of Adam Sandler’s better films. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
