after learning of James Laxer's death in Feb 2018, I recalled his name from Ontario politics. I wanted to read something by him and, as I often do to explore the basics of an author, I chose a book written for children.
I knew nothing about Tecumseh except his name - so I learned about his ability to organize disparate peoples and to fight for his principles. much like politics....
