Rosie already knew the sort of man she wanted to marry -- and Fergus Cameron couldn't be further from that ideal! Arrogant and determined to always get his own way, he was much too sure of himself for Rosie's peace of mind. Yet he had also made it clear that he, too, had decided on the girl he wanted to marry ... but did his plans include her? Only time would tell.

I really loved this old fashioned love story. Rosie is a strong willed independent woman with traditional values. She has been working in England for the past six years, helping her parents who lost their home in Scotland due to an economic downturn. While on a trip with her domineering Scottish grandmother to visit the Highlands near her old home, she meets Scottish doctor. It is not love at first sight. This is a very satisfying, humorous love story between two strong people you come to care about. It's a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. Betty Neels wrote stories with happy endings. You have to use your imagination about what happens after the last page. No graphic sexual encounters here.
