Kudos on author on original premise of girl involuntary cloning (aka asexual reproduction) herself every year since age 3 or that "mother" was a nurse who took care of the "dead end" clones age 3 to age 16 stuck in that appearance & height.
Unconventional science fiction to say the least on implied staying young experiment gone sideways ,but putting in coming of age format made sense.
Her unseen until last chapters father was classic mad scientist on unethical experiment on so many levels.
Teva clone age 3 still traumatized.
New angles of hard to live with yourself.
Her friends reaction to reveal so classic.
Ending somewhat gross, but interesting.
Highly recommended for teenagers & even adults. Interesting curve ball on reproduction rights.
So annoyed author wasn't nominated for a Hugo.
