Add a CommentA bolder style of cozy that has a bit of chick lit flavor. Normally I prefer my crime novels grimmer, but the characters kept me interested and I'm not sure the last time I laughed this much while reading a crime novel. I definitely plan to read more in this series and by this author. If you enjoy a fun quick mystery, this is a good choice.
This was a fun read. At first, I thought I would tire of the style of jokes but I didn’t. I liked the main character and enjoyed her attempts to identify the killer. I want to read more in this series.
Dayna is a struggling actress in Los Angeles. When she witnesses a possible murder she decides to try her hand as a detective. This book is fast paced and fun to read with a hilarious group of supporting characters! First in a series!
