Olivia Lockhart Cedar Cove, Washington Dear Reader, If you've been to Cedar Cove before, you've probably met my friend Grace Sherman. You can usually find her at home€́”she lives at 204 Rosewood Lane€́”or at the public library, where she works. Like me, she grew up in this town and she's raised two daughters here. But did you hear that about six months ago, her husband disappeared? Just ... disappeared. Where's Dan? Why did he go? Who's he with? Will Grace ever find out? I hope that all of us, her family and friends, are bringing her comfort during this difficult time. Comfort and a sense of shelter. I'm continually reminded that life can and does go on. For instance, everyone's been discussing weddings and babies lately. Justine, my daughter, rather impulsively got married a little while ago. Grace's daughter Kelly recently had a baby. Unfortunately, she refuses to accept that Dan might not return to see his first grandchild. Grace's older daughter, Maryellen, is more realistic. Grace thinks she's seeing a new man but for some reason won't say who it is. Then there's Jack Griffin, our local newspaper editor, the man I've been seeing. And ... well, I have lots to tell you. Come on over and we'll talk! Olivia.

So cheesy in general and some of those dialogues between ‘lovers’ are incredibly cheesy...
I ended up reading each separate story by following them through chapters to create some logical traction for myself. Struggled to understand why Rosie’s story was brought into this book except for Olivia to appear in the picture for a second.

And it continues. I feel so bad for Grace, but I like that Macomber makes her characters have some depth. It makes it easier to relate to them. Definitely love Justine and Seth. I think they are my fave couple even if we don't see them often. Can Cliff win over Grace?? Time will tell I suppose. Cliffhangers...its a love and hate relationship. :)

Debbie Macomber, continues her Cedar Cove series, focusing on Grace. I love her clean romances.

This is the second book in the cedar cove series. It was a good quick read, although I think the author does too much reminding of what happened in the previous book.

I enjoyed 204 Rosewood Lane but not as much as the first book in the Cedar Cove series. I found it a bit predictable but I was glad to see there was closure in Grace's story.

The second title of Macomber's Cedar Cove series. People assume Grace Sherman, the town librarian, is as demure as she appears. But they are wrong. When her husband mysteriously disappears, Grace is comforted by her family and friends from her hometown. But can she help her own family--especially her two daughters--deal with their own confusion and devastation at his loss? Copyright © Libri GmbH. All rights reserved.
