A good teen movie--adults will find it predictable.

A medium but sweet romantic film. I really liked the twist in the film about his father but overall, I think the movie could have been better.

The Space Between Us is a 2017 drama starring Asa Butterfield and Britt Robertson. During the first ever mission to colonize Mars, the lead astronaut Sarah Elliot gives birth to the first human to be born on Mars, Gardner Elliot. Sixteen years later, Gardner is finally able to voyage to the blue planet that his mother called home. When it's discovered that Gardner's organs can't handle the atmosphere, together with his internet friend from earth Tulsa, they're on the run. The duo are determined to figure out Gardner's mysterious past. The movie was fairly predictable, and the relationship between Gardner and Tulsa seemed cliché and forced. I will give them credit for the surprising plot twist at the end, that was pretty unexpected. 4 Stars

While not realistic circumstances, when accepted for being a story it is an enjoyable movie.

A female astronaut pregnant on a space mission is not believable.

Neat idea badly executed. Cliches abound. Is it ever going to be the case that the folks in security aren’t outwitted by a wiley teen — here a teen who supposedly has no experience of Earth or of any society beyond a tiny enclosed camp of scientists on Mars? Also, time is wasted on the buildup. Yeah, it gives Gary Oldman more screen time, but it should've been cut. I don't even want to mention the crop duster.

Nice story but one has to be able to accept a couple of somewhat unbelievable concepts, namely the lead mission women astronaut found to be pregnant (as far along as she was), without anyone knowing prior to her actual mission!
Nice story of young love and longing to belong, beyond physical limitations.

OK concept, but the execution is a little lacking.

Not impressed, I agree with gwen7154. I also agree with dennismardi's comment re people not taking good care of our library disc's. How hard can it be to install correctly into one's player without damaging.

A rather odd movie with no real feeling to it. Silly, meaningless, and unrealistic. Not recommended.
