Mixes low-key British humor with mystery. Widowed Mrs. Pargeter (the picture of innocent respectability) turns the tables on some very ruthless characters - and brings a murderer to justice in the process. If you liked Dorothy Gilman's "Mrs. Pollifax" series I think you'd enjoy this.
