My first book by Reay and I found it a cute and enjoyable summer read. Not too much conflict, references to art and classic literature, and descriptions of Italian food and landscapes that had me dreaming of a vacation to Italy.

Katherine Reay's books are quite enjoyable, however this one was not nearly as good as the Bronte Plot or Dear Mr. Knightley. The first chapters were boring and drawn out and the characters not that interesting. Not this author's best work.

I love and recommend all of Katherine's books. She writes modern romance with a classic twist. They are enjoyable to read and hard to put down.
