"David Kern is a hapless waiter who chances upon an unpublished novel in an old dresser drawer he buys at a flea market. Desperate to woo a young woman he fancies he presents the manuscript to her as his own. She is not only impressed but, unbeknownst to him, submits it to a publisher. The book quickly becomes a sensation"--Container.

Daniel Bruhl seems to be the face of modern German cinema. He's always there. For the first time, a German film can tackle a comedy without being stiff. Refreshing!
