The readers in the audio book were very good. The plot itself is interesting, clever modernized premise to the Taming of the Shrew. Writing is not really philosophical but it is a good read overall.

The Hogarth Shakespeare project invited prominent novelists to retell the stories of his plays. This charming and funny short book is based on The Taming of the Shrew.
