I don't know how to feel about Drake. Since he made his 2010 debut with "You Can Thank Me Later," Drake has been unavoidable, a rapper whose popularity and acclaim is on par with Kanye and Jay-Z. Listening to his fourth proper album, "Views," I wonder how good is he? He can't really rap all that well, he can't really sing all that well, and his lyrics, are, well, a bit shallow. There's a lot of I got really famous, but, hey, it's kinda hard to be famous, but, also, I totally deserve to be famous. As he humbly says "Views already a classic." This album wore me out. It's 20 songs and 80 minutes long and it only picks up for the last time, the single "Hotline Bling." Rihanna, Future, and Partynextdoor guest. It is impressive how he got up on that building for the cover.
Views by Drake is an album that many didn't like and many liked. He seemed to change his way of music with it and took on a more pop sound with dancehall music which wasn't bad, but I felt like he had too much as he is a rapper. I think the album was still really good, but it had a lot of hype before it came and it didn't live up to it. Some of my favourite songs off of it are Keep the Family Close, Weston Road Flows, Redemption, and U With Me. Compared to other albums like Take Care and Nothing Was the Same this wasn't as good as it could have been. It still was pretty decent but I find he could have done a lot better. Still a recommend to take a listen to.

Views, Drakes fourth album was ok, but definitely nowhere near the hype. Everything wasn't bad on the album, songs like Controlla, Too good, and One Dance were all good songs and very popular, although ruined by the radio as they were overplayed. In my opinion Hype, Weston road flows, and Still Here are great underappreciated songs that should be given a shot. The major negative when it comes to Views is that there isn't much variety off songs. A lot of the songs sound the same. It also seems like Drake isn't rapping as much as seen in previous songs and albums such as Jumpman. Im a big fan of Drake, its obvious that Views is not his best work. With all the good and the bad I give the album a 3/5 rating

Drake's fourth studio album, Views was expected to be fantastic. Weeks of promotions and releases like 'One Dance' and 'Hotline Bling' were released while the album was still in creation. The releases that Drake picked were truthfully the highlight of the album, as I found once I truly listened to the entire album in itself, it was disappointing. Most of the songs were similar in length and beat, which added a boring effect and made it seem like all the songs were the same. There were some highlights to the album, such as the releases of songs like 'Pop Style', 'Controlla', and 'Too Good featuring Rihanna'. He swayed from his genre of rap/hip-hop to a more pop-sounding album. Many of the songs sounded like they weren't meant to be 'sung' by the Canadian rapper. I feel like he could've expanded his artistic skill more so that he could've produced a better and more artistically skilled album. This wasn't a situation where the pros outweighed the cons, and I truly didn't enjoy the album as a whole, but there were a few upsides to the album. I'd rate it a 2.5/5

Views is the fourth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. The album includes five singles: "Hotline Bling" (which was included as a bonus track), "One Dance" (featuring Wizkid and Kyla), "Pop Style" (featuring Jay-Z and Kanye West), "Controlla" and "Too Good" (featuring Rihanna). This album includes 20 songs that have different styles in terms of tempo and tone. Although the majority of his songs in this playlist are downtempo (such as “Hotline Bling”, “Redemption”, “Fire & Desire”, “Controlla”, and “U with Me”), there are still many songs that are up-tempo (such as “Hype”, “Too Good”, “One Dance”, “Grammys”, “9”, and “Views”). Some of my favourite songs in this album are “Too Good”, “One Dance”, “Hotline Bling”, “Controlla”, and “Grammys”. Since this is my personal favourite album from Drake, I would recommend it to anybody that loves listening to music in general (from any genre) because I believe that this album is THAT good.
