I'm surprised Marvel tried to reboot this story and don't foresee a sequel. The mood & lighting are darker but I think they tried too hard to have the actors say significant lines. These actors and this version of the Thing look far less like the traditional comic book drawings too. Finally, I was prepared to accept that students might build such a device but not the premise for their first trip with it.

At least it's better than the earlier twerpy Jessica Alba versions.
Decent, not laughable. Dr Doom was somewhat scary.

Very interesting story. Recommended.

The buildup at the beginning took a loooooong time. The "exciting" part was too short. The first fantastic 4 movie (the one with Chris Evans and Jessica Alba) was better then this one.
However, I did enjoy watching the "extras" section which talked about how they made it. Very creative...

The story line was cut short, I may not be a fan. But overall, I didn't even understand what happening and what each character did. I wish it was more elaborate to say in "character development", instead of skipping to "7 years later".

this movie is so incomplete that I can not believe that they said that's a Rap.

This movie was not that fantastic. I found it to be overly short in the story line area. There was no connection between the characters, made it feel like they were just "there". Marvel should have left Fantastic Four the way it was done the first time!
Glad I didn't see it in theaters.

You guys know who built the Apollo spacecraft, went to the moon?
-Yeah. Your mama.
So, the answer's no. But you know who Neil Armstrong is, right?
-Yeah, of course.
Of course. Buzz Aldrin? Yeah. First men to walk on the moon. Famous faces hired to conquer dreams that weren't even theirs. Dreams that someone else,
some other scientist... who probably died penniless and alone... and sat in a bar, telling people he sent men to the moon.

Sue: Music is just a series of altered patterns. The musician creates the pattern and makes us anticipate a resolution... then holds back. Makes you wait for it. There's patterns in everything and everyone.

Harvey: You're counting on these guys? A guy who can stretch, a girl I can't see, a human torch...[looks at Ben] I don't even know what he is.
