By this time, the people who were a little less interested in the medicinal stuff should be pretty happy. There is a lot more adventuring and suspense happening, in multiple locations and not just the homeland. But for me, this just started to turn into one of those classical, predictable science fiction stories with wars and futuristic problems. It was interesting despite this anxious problem nagging at the back of my head, but sometimes people just get tired of repetition. The cover was nice, but I still liked the first one better. 4.5/5 stars.

Such a good series, I read the first one about a year ago and picked this one up at indigo last month. I only got around to reading it yesterday, But I already finished. I love where the story is going and I really want to know what is going to happen next.

A good read - a fitting sequel to the first book.
I like the new direction that the author took Samm, Kira and Heron. Although I would have liked more information on Heron..maybe this is in the next book to come?

Violence being occasionally necessary is not the same thing as violence being good.
