Great film. Tragic tale.

Honestly I can't believe there are bad reviews, though I understand most audiences are subjected to tons of sensational drama in typical crime shows and action movies. This movie, to me, is quietly, extremely good and intriguing. Lack of bombs going off and jumping and shooting and a noisy soundtrack leaves one plenty of room to consider the characters and the storyline. Also, the movie is quite sensual...not in a sexual way. Loved it.

I enjoyed this film. It's entertaining and keeps the suspense going throughout.

Like LPL_Sarah, watched this true-crime drama after the excellent "Jinx" documentary. In addition, new development of Robert Durst's case, see Feb 16, 2017 news report in "Summary." What a messed up rich boy gone mad tale. You have to watch the film, the on going news coverage to believe that the writers did not make up those good things gone to hell in a handbasket.

Alternate title: All Things Are Not Good featuring cowards and a twisted clown named Mr. Durst.

very disappointing. It was flat and did not keep my full attention although I did watch it to the end. Cannot recomment

I didn't realize this movie was about the Robert Durst murders until I started watching it. Really interesting, especially if you've watched The Jinx.

I liked the plot. The acting was good enough. This movie still falls flat because none of the characters are likable or interesting.
The cover is a good example of this movie dull and unmemorable.

Well done with Gosling's playing a character that is a departure from his usual characters. The movie has significant impact due to the real life outcomes of the events.

All Good Things is based on a real life story about a mysterious missing person case. The troubled son of a wealthy real estate tycoon gets married and moves to Vermont. There he and his wife operate a health food store. Because of financial problems the son must return to NYC to work in the family business. After several years of marriage the family scion becomes more and more estranged from his wife. When his wife goes missing the son drops out of site and his wife is never found.

“I had to. It was her or me,” Durst said, according to Chavin. “I had no choice.”
