Great book, recommend

This book was ok. It wasn't the best personal success book that I've read, but it wasn't the worst. It has it good and bad points.

It is a good book for those just beginning their journey to personal success. He puts his ideas in plain language that most people can follow, but for those who have studied personal success for any period of time may feel he hasn't done his research and doesn't give a solid description and solution to the covered principles.

I love that he encourages his reader to talk to leaders and ask them how they've accomplished their goals. What I didn't like is he doesn't give any suggestions on how to approach these leaders within our world. He says that Magic Johnson, Tyler Perry, even the President likes to talk, but he never tells the reader how to approach these individuals. It seemed more like he was just name dropping.

What I couldn't stand about the book was that it all centered around him. He did a good job highlighting all of the things he's done in his life and it got quite redundant. I tried to count how many times he used ā€œIā€ on one page and just got tired of counting. Work that is meant to help others find personal success should not be focused on the author but the reader.

Overall it was ok. Is it a book that I would constantly go back to read again and again, no. I would recommend this for a younger reader and someone just beginning their journey to personal success, but for the more seasoned success oriented life-long learner this is one to skip.

This is the best Self Help book i have ever read. Not only does he tell you what he has done to change his life and what you can do to change yours. He also shows you what to do. He guides you in the right direction to get you where you want to be. He makes you work for your goal and teaches you how to get there the best way. He gives you that extra push needed to help keep you motivated and stay on track. I love this book. I will buy 3 books and pass them around for others to recive the same knowledge that i have gained.
