wow, the first book was great, the second was okay, but this one is just terrible. I'm basically giving up on this series

Exactly!

While I'm still enjoying the story arc, I'm finding myself a bit frustrated that the stories continue not from book to book, but from one book to the online game and then they jump back to the next book. This means that anyone who hasn't played the game might feel like they're missing out on some important information that's been revealed only online. Hoping they'll do a companion book to fill in the gaps for those who don't play the game!

Kdmullerspy, you mean that this book goes very deep into Sera's and Riq's remnants. I have yet to see where their remnants originated.(Although I already know from the previous book that Riq's remnants are that he's not supposed to exist at all.)

Awesome!!!!!They really went deeply into the psyche of Sera and Riq; whereas Dak was just ...well... Dak(If you've read the books then you'll know what I mean). I love this series!!!!!

You're going to be special, Sera. I can see it in your eyes. But you must understand, there is always a price to pay for being special. You must have strong shoulders. Do you have strong shoulders, Sera?
