Add a QuoteOh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars that fill my dreams. I'm a traveller of both time and space, to be where I have been.

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run there's still time to change the road you're on and it makes me wonder.

Add a CommentI'm a singing drummer. I seem to remember seeing Jason playing high as a kite, and no one offering a full refund. So, you just get this old corpse trotted out to take advantage of you and mooch your money. Considering who his father was, this is insultingly bad. Plant sounds as worn out as an old bus, and I've seen better bar bands cover it. Heck, I've seen Kashmir play this material correctly and very well for free.
I have the correct drums, I cannot figure out how one gets these to sound so bad, either. They don't record easily, but they'll blow you off the stage live. Based on the drum badges, this is a Ludwig kit.
Don't bother. From a professional musician's view, you're better off seeing a tribute band or your original recordings at home.
I AM glad I found out how bad it is within 30 seconds, save the time watching it. Try "The Song Remains" the Same," back when Jason was just sort of cute at about age 3. There's nothing here to go crazy over, as every player, particularly drummers and singers like myself to obsess over for the next 40 years. Get the original recordings. This is garbage.
great music Kashmir, stairway to heven, black dog , whole lotta love
original and legendary
Their first full length concert since the death of drummer John Bonham with Jason Bonham who filled his late father's throne playing drums. A range of expanded and improvised version of songs from their past albums except “In Through the Out Door” plus playing two songs which never played live ever before, “Ramble On” and “For Your Life”. Breath taking instrumentation and a great drum works. A masterpiece.
They stick to the songs pretty much as recorded on original albums. No 25 minute versions of "Whole Lotta Love". Listen to "How the West Was Won" for the definitive live Zep. But this is surprisingly good!
