This is a wonderful book which I enjoyed from beginning to end. Well written and well documented, it is a real gem. I have enjoyed all of Ms. Gelardi's books and wish only that she writes many more.

This has a personal interest for me, because when I was 4 or 5, I met the Grand Duchess Olga, when she lived in Cooksville and was a friend and neighbour of my grandparents. I've inherited a watercolour she gave to them, signed simply "Olga". What a life she had.
