Highly regarded and nicely filmed. Somehow didn't seem to come together for me -- like it was trying for something it didn't know how to reach. Possibly this just means that I didn't know how to see it. But what i did see suggested to me that it got funded only because the creator was married to one of the most popular Indian actors around [who of course appears in it].

The begining of the film was slow, and I was annoyed with Monica Dogra (Shai's) overacting, but as the characters settled into their roles and the plot began to intensify, I enjoyed the movie. Prateik Soni absolutely stole the show as Munna. I am happy with the open ending- the film wasn't reduced to a fairy tale.

Excellent movie.. Produced by Aaron Khan. Quality movie, for sure.. One thing, though, I wish the ending had more closure..and that they had had used the alternative ending. Do watch the Extras, well-worth it..Well-done movie.. It will pull on your emotional strings and make you fall in love with the characters of this movie. Superb acting and cast! I highly recommend it!..

These four intersecting stories are set in modern Mumbai but as far from Bollywood as it gets. Excellent nuanced performances, especially by the young Prateik, who plays a simple and naive but ambitious dhobi wallah. The contrasting perspectives of the westernised Indian woman visiting from New York and the aspiring actor are very well done and realistic.

An intelligent, delicate story about four lives in Mumbai that intersect. Highly recommended.

Hardly any story line to boast about, yet so captivating. Excellent acting by all!
