He wants Mikael to write his autobiography all the while using the information he uncovers to solve his grandniece, Harriet’s 40 year old murder.
Salander, a punk rocker with attitude, works for Milton securities. Her idiosyncrancies are accepted solely because of her exceptional competence and emotional detachment to her work. Her character is mysterious and she inevitably gets caught up in Blomkvist’s case, as her interest is piqued as to why someone of such dedication to his work would sloppily write untruths about a financial mogul.
As Harriet’s murder soon becomes the focal point of the story, both Blomkvist and Salander are thrown together in what becomes the hunt for a seriously demented killer.
The story is set a very comfortable pace, with interesting characters. The narrator has a strong, calm voice that makes listening to these 13 CD’s very enjoyable.
