I have read most of Joanne Flukes books.. They are a fast read for me. I like the recipes and have tried some of them. I like to read these books when i want some light reading.

Joanne Fluke's story was simplistic. It was the second one of her stories I have read.
I don't think I will read more by her.
Laura Levine's story was very light fluff.
Leslie Meier's story I slogged thru hoping it would get better.
I find that the characters in all the stories are not very realistic. They seemed like characatures and I could not relate or care about them.

I only read the first story [by Joanne Fluke.] It absolutely does not add anything to the plot of her series. It is also so simplistic. Only maybe 3 possible suspects are mentioned and I had it figured out in chapter 4. Including the missing number- it was a non brainer. Happily, the entire story only took 2 hours of my time to read, but it was a waste of time.

Uneven. If you like the authors, you will probably like the stories.
