This is the third book in Tad Williams' Shadowmarch Series and it continues the well-constructed story of the fairy Qar against the humans. The book is big but entertaining; the pages fly by. There is enough backstory revealed to keep the reader hooked and plenty of advancement with the overall plot.

This is book three of the Shadowmarch saga, not book two.
