This series is superb. I highly recommend it to all. I am especially pleased that the unfair treatment of the native peoples of Canada is treated honestly. Modern Canada, however wonderful, was created by flawed humans who made both good and bad decisions.

I deeply regret that the CBC has been gutted by budget cuts by the Mulroney, Chr├ętien, Harper governments in turn. This is the sort of work that our national broadcaster should still be doing.
