All-new adventures by Darwyn Cooke, who updates The Spirit to the 21st century with his 1940s fashion sense intact. This volume collects six self-contained stories, plus the one-off team-up with The Batman that first placed the character in the DC Universe. The art is a mix of Cooke, Eisner and the Batman animated TV series. Occasionally fun to look at, but hardly essential.
