One of Washington D.C.'s premier wedding planners, Annabelle Archer, prides herself on always providing her brides with a reception-to-die-for. Unfortunately, this time one of the honored guests took it too literally. The poisoning murder of a particularly difficult mother-of-the-bride has cast a pall on Annabelle's latest triumph -- and suspicion falls heavily on the caterer, her friend Richard Gerard. Annabelle knows that even her trusted wedding emergency kit won't salvage their careers if she and Richard can't find the real killer.
