Definitely Led Zeppelin at their very peak of heavy-metal perfection. No complaints here.
A near perfect album and a great introduction to this seminal band. (Favs: Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid, Moby Dick)
Unique style drew from a wide variety of styles, including folk, Led Zeppelin's sound is marked by speed and power, unusual rhythmic patterns, contrasting terraced dynamics, Robert Plant's wailing vocals, and Jimmy Page's heavily distorted guitars. No need to mention Bonham and Jones’ extra ordinary performances.
