It just seemed immature to me, like a book that a somewhat intelligent teenager may read, just not interesting enough to hold my attention, I have read some of his other books and really enjoyed them, this man does have talent but this book was just not one of his best.

Beautiful. Reflective. Informative. A great collection of short stories in the true Palahniuk style. One of Palahniuk's best works. Very highly recommended.

Honestly, I read this bok over 3 times trying so hard to understand the concept, and ofcourse I wasn't able to do so. This book is more likely for people who are IN this exact situations. otherwise you won't understand anything it's a matter of personal opinion from each author about life. Eh ..

A great collection of short essays. In true Palahniuk style it starts with the alienatingly obsurd, the obscene writ large and then it somehow moves into the crushingly personal. First, it is someone else's personal, and then it is very much the author's own, until you are left with something very small, and very dense, and very transparent and very important. A small, small crystal of truth.
