This is the first ever field guide to Christmas cookies! It provides an entertaining and original take on a classic subject. Each of the 75 cookies has its own page with information on the type (drop, rolled, filled, etc.), its country of origin, a description of how it looks and tastes, variations, and how long it will keep. Christmas is the perfect time of year for sharing cookies with family and friends. In this book, each recipe indicates which are fun to make with kids, which freeze well, which are quick to make, and much more. There are also tips on decorating, how to store cookies for maximum freshness, and how to throw a Christmas cookie swap.

Love the layout and variety but note - recipe for Nanaimo Bars - one of the only Canadian recipes - is actually for Hello Dollies/Magic Bars NOT Nanaimo Bars.
