This book describes one of the greatest railroad construction sagas in Canadian history. Not only does it tell a great story of a battle between rival railroad companies, the CPR and the GNR, it tells of how the Kettle Valley Railway, an incredible feat of B.C. railway engineering, was constructed, leaving behind a foundation for travel across the province that is still used today. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys B.C. history.
