"Where is Ellesmere Island? Think of the little metal disk that sits on top of a globe: Ellesmere is under that." A Canadian journalist and photographer documents his journeys in the High Arctic, and the often ill-fated explorers and natives who preceded him. Funny and informative, Kobalenko is like an extreme Bill Bryson.
