A fantastic romance novel that will stick with you. My copy is tattered and worn, and I can't bear to part with it. Try this if you love "Outlander."
While the story reads a little outdated by today's standards, particularly in the development of the romance between Douglass and Nicholas, it is all worth it for the excellent ending.
Complex and enigmatic with its underlying sensuality and emotional intensity. this novel mesmerizes and held my attention from the first page to the last. A well-written enchanting story...and a great entertaining summer read. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a love story---it will make a lasting impression in your heart.
I love this story so much that it is one of only ten or so romance novels I won't ever sell or give away.
This story is a little hoaky but fairly entertaining.
