During two springs and two summers between 1992 and 1996, the author paddled her kayak alone for 750-miles through the Inside Passage between Ketchican, Alaska, and Bellingham, Washington. Jennifer Hahn, a trained biologist and kayak tour guide, shares her keen knowledge of marine wildlife and her enthusiasm for human-powered exploration. The text is complimented by pen and ink sketches and 7 maps by the author; and a bibliography.
