* This is the fourth book in the Griffin and Sabine series...and the mystery deepens!

* Griffin and Sabine are still key players in the story, but two new characters are introduced.

* There is more variation among the correspondence, including letters with enclosures, a two-page letter, and a trifold card.

While I haven't read this particular book, it is part of a series which starts with "Griffin & Sabine." The series explores the relationship between Griffin, a struggling writer and artist, and Sabine, a mysterious woman who sends him postcards from exotic locales...and who may or may not be a figment of Griffin's imagination. Told through actual physical letters that are tucked into envelopes and between pages, Bantock's interactive reading experience is both beautiful and compelling. Each postcard from Sabine is a masterful use of collage. These books must be read in order, however, in order to follow the story. I would recommend starting with "Griffin & Sabine," and then go on from there.
