But an old friend, Aaron Dunwoodie, helps her through the chaos. And just as her life is beginning to normalize, her husband returns claiming that he's dying. This is an older book of Fern Micheal's but it is a great read. It pulls at the heart strings and gets you very involved with the chracters. There is not much I can say that wouldn't ruin the book for others but I can say that the small town dumb little girl marries what she thinks is a good small town army guy but can't see him for what he truly is...a major controller and manipulater who is after her trust fund. Would totally recommend!!!
