Fantastical setting and good writing. I was liking the book a lot, until the end when everyone is revealed who is who, and it turns out that allegedly brand-new characters are just old ones in disguise. I won't spoil it, but if you liked…

O scholar of books (meaning you) please enlighten your heavenly being and read Castle in the Air (read Howl's Moving Castle first if you haven't already). Disclaimer: This book is filled with exaggerated praise (reference example above)…

Very much okay! Not as enjoyable as Howl's Moving Castle, but still quite nice.

Almost gave up in the first 100 pages--it's like an Aladdin story in a generic middle east setting--but then they get to Ingary and non-Aladdin-ey things start happening.

Great addition to the world of Howl and Sophie!! I actually realized while reading this that I read the continuations of HMC out of order (I read The House of Many Ways before this title, and this one actually comes before that one in…

This a great book. Why? Because when you start reading it you won't be able to stop. Also, it has a very good plot with romance.

Another book where the first (Howl's Moving Castle) was good and the second was just meh. Although I'm not sure if this book counts as the second just because it's set in the same time and place. Anyway, just go watch the Hiyo Miyazaki…

Though I found the characters enchanting like Howl's Moving Castle I felt that it borrowed too much of the Aladdin story.

This is the sequel to Howl's Moving Castle, so if you haven't read it, read it first! This book is like a foreign fairy tale- but princesses do more than just sitting in a tower and crying in this book. If you enjoyed book one, you will…

This book was pretty good and also quite funny. I loved the fact that the "Howl's Moving Castle" characters were in it. But that's what made the book good! I would read this book if you're a fan of the first one.

Adding djinns, a genie in a bottle, and a flying carpet into the world of Ingary just doesn't work. The main character Abdullah is too bland and gets especially irritating when he start with the flowery speeches. All the interesting…

Amazing, just like Howl's Moving Castle (which by the way is kinda the prequel to this book) and Howl is just as amazing as ever, although you only realize who he is in the end. Lots of mystery, adventure and humor. MUST READ FOR THOSE OF…

This book is set in the same world as Howl's Moving Castle. It takes place about a year later, and focuses on new characters. The book has lots of nice plot twists, and chances are you won't recognize who Howl is until the end!
