I like both E books and the physical book but ebooks are great traveling and for treadmills. When I read on the treadmill, this is just the type of book I love. Lots of action, a mystery to unravel and gutsy characters. Will Robie is a…

4 - 4 1/2 star read. This was book #4 in Baldacci's Will Robie series and it was a very good read. Robie has two catastrophic incidents in his career as a government assassin. Told to take a break, he hears that his Dad has been…

Not one of Baldacci's best , and the ending was not up to Baldacci's usual standard, and became soapy and almost unbelievable, The last three or four chapters had a feeling of being rushed through by the writer.

This is my second Robie book, and I've listened to both.....book 3 had an amazing male reader and book 4's reader was not great....I got used to him, but.....anyway, I enjoyed the book, yet I don't believe people change that much in 20…

Mr. Baldacci must have been under considerable pressure when it came to wrapping up this book. I am willing to suspend belief to some extent when enjoying fiction but the denouement of this book is beyond outrageous and certainly not…

agree with Happycanuck below. There could have been some great psychological tension in this novel but the plot was superficial. Nevertheless it is fast paced and there is satisfactory resolution, what one would expect from Baldacci

Disappointing. After reading several Baldacci books this was unusual. It had an excellent story line and was the type of book that had you so hooked that you didn't want to put it down. Then, after leading up to the last chapter, with…

Well written with a good pace. There were too many scenarios that were so far fetched that they were insulting to the reader's intelligence.

Another great Baldacci book. One of the best novel writers today.

This book started out with a killing. It set the tone for the whole book - violence with a capital V. Yet, one wants Will Robie to kill, to be able to kill. WIll Robie loses his ability and takes an absence from his job to head to…

Baldacci gets James Patterson-y with this one, and it's a nice surprise. We get to see through Will Robie's eyes as a CIA assassin with guilt and PTSD, and the heartbroken son of a harsh father. He and Jessica reel get chased by…

Many good and poor reviews on this book. A challenge for Will and Jessica to determine the actual killer. Although not a nail-biting action thriller, it was an excellent read. Again, Baldacci created a winner. I had it on "hold", but…

Fun read but Baldacci and his editor don't seem to know the difference between stepbrother and half brother. If one's dad remarries and has a son, that child is a half brother. Jeez.

Long while dealing with tough subjects. The ending defies believability.

A pageturner as Will Robie returns home to solve murders. We find out more than is necessary about Will's past, his teen years, and his family. Very much written and plotted like a Jack Reacher story by Lee Child without the boring minute…

Baldacci is not at the top of his game with this installation in the Robie/Reel series. A very distinct drop-off from what I had come to expect from these characters, and Baldacci in general. It seemed to be almost a forced "back…

I had never heard of this author before but found this novel in my weekly "whats new" email. I read the plot, it sounded good so, I put it on hold. In the beginning, it was a bit boring to me. But i trudged on and I was glad I did. I did…

I found this novel to be poorly wriiten, very contrived, defied logic on many occasions. Baldacci is normally much, much better than this. I slogged through it, but definitely was not a page-turner.

Awesome page turner - finished it in a day! Action packed, well-written, with numerous twists and turns & a shocking ending. Another homerun for Baldacci!
