An excellent show.

Excellent series. It is unfortunate the library only has series 1 and 3. Series 2 is on downloadable video only. However, still well worth watching,

Comparable to West Wing in the United States. Follows the career of a woman who becomes Denmark's Prime Minister. Plenty of intrigue. Well directed and acted.

The first half of the final season’s episodes unfold a bit slowly, but they lay the groundwork for what is to come. The last three episodes crackle with energy and brilliant writing, tying up the series nicely. The show provides an…

This just didn't touch the drama of the previous series. Many important characters are sidelined, including Birgitte's ex-husband and Juul. The tension just isn't there to the same degree and somethings are resolved far too easily and…

A good series.. Educational on how the Danish politics work, and what is important to the Danish people, etc.. Many interesting characters! I enjoyed it for the most part, especially the First Two series! But by the end, of this series,…

sort of silly.. only the women and the kids had good roles. her husband's role was ridiculous, not telling anybody about her medical condition was ridiculous,

Spoilers - I wasn't sure how season three was going to get any better particularly without Birgitte Nyborg in Christiansborg Palace, but it did. As others have commented, over this series, I have learned so much about how the parliamentary…

I have watched all three episodes and owing to the intelligent subtitles have got the gist of Danish politics and, not only that, have learned about pig farming. I can't praise this excellent series enough. Informative and entertaining.…

Compare with the brilliant Season 1 and Season 2, the script of S3 is somehow weak. In this season, Torben and his boss Alexander are sort of one-dimensioned, and Katrine, Pia and Nete as admirers are not so convinced.

The best series of the past few years. The political, economic and social issues are very much of the present. Believable characters, great acting. We need more great series like this.

Borgen gets better with each season. Fantastic political drama.

Season 3 is a let down compared to the first 2. Kaspar only makes a few cameo appearances. But even a disappointing Borgen is better than nothing. You still get to spend time with Birgitte Nyborg who is a fantastic and inspiring heroine.

Have to say that we haven't enjoyed #3 as we did the first two. The political drama seems to be low priority. Do have to say that the acting is superb. Everyone does a great job even those in the "lowliest" supporting roles. I still…

Season 3 continues this excellent series. I agree with the other comments on this series and I was struck with the differences between US and Danish politicians. Nyborg, now former PM of Denmark, travels around on a bicycle unescorted by a…

Borgen or “government, ”Season 3 follows ex-premier Birgitte Nyborg's journey back into politics, on the relatively tiny Danish political stage representing about 4 million eligible voters and 5.6 million total residents. The campaign…
