Add a Commenti loved this book!!!!! i coudn't stop reading until i finished the book. i was in love with patch/jev since the beginning and i always way even when im 50. i seriously can't wait for the lasr and final book!
Nora Grey wakes up in a cemetery in the town of Coldwater unable to remember the past five months of her life. As she works around the blurry hole in her mind, she finds herself trying to figure out who kidnapped her, without the help of others, who are clearly keeping secrets from her. What’s more, she keeps running into a familiar stranger, Jev, who Nora is certain must know more than he will say, and her mother is dating Hank, the father of her enemy, Marcie Millar. Silence is well-written, filled with beautiful descriptions and enticing characters, like the very believable Nora, and the shady and mysterious Patch. Though I was at first sceptical of how erasing Nora’s memory would flow into the series, it created important motives for the characters, and the ending leaves me waiting impatiently for the conclusion, Finale.
Can I just say I love Puck/Jev?! Cause I just adore his sense of humor and his ability to annoy people on the spot.
I Love this Series... Can't Wait for the next one. Very Excited.... If you like Forbidden love and Paranormal romance I'd take a look at this series....
As the third book in the series, this review will contain spoilers for Hush, Hush and Crescendo. In a series that is narrated in the first person, giving your narrator amnesia can be a tricky proposition. The readers obviously know everything that Nora can't remember so much of the mysteries that Nora attempts to unravel in the first part of the book are things the reader already knows. However, Fitzpatrick manages to pull it off and I didn't find myself getting exceedingly irritated. The relationship between Nora and Patch is still riveting, although I found the comic relief didn't occur as frequently as might be desired. However, the biggest thing for me was coming into this novel thinking it was the final book in a trilogy, wondering how all of the various plot points could possibly be resolved, and then realizing that there's at least one more novel to come in the series. While there are plot threads left hanging, there is no evil cliffhanger, so while I'm eager to read the next book, I'm not weeping and gnashing my teeth. Definitely only fare for fans of YA paranormal fiction, but it'll hit the spot for readers of the series.
Another great book in the Hush Hush series. All the books in this series are incredible! Becca Fitzpatrick is a genius. I got hooked on the first book and am still hooked. Can't wait till the next one! I really like how there is always something new in each book so you don't get bored. WOW!!!
I had waited a while on the waiting list for this book and read so many books between Crescendo and Silence that I sort of forgot what was going on in the story. Then I started reading it and realized Nora had amnesia and couldn't remember anything. Boy was that frustrating! I couldn't remember anything either! So the first 200 pages I was kind of in the dark but once Nora started piecing together her past I slowly started to remember too. I was definitely not disappointed with this book. It's too bad the next one in the series doesn't come out until October!
What a great book!!!!! I can't wait till the fourth one comes I wonder what they will do next.....
I am practically in love with this series, at the moment. I read the first two books in a four days and I just can't get enough! I only wished the library had more copies of the series :( other than that I am basically hooked and I can't wait to see how they end the series
The first time reading Hush, hush.. i fell in love. I HAD to keep reading the series and after Crescendo, i couldn't wait until Silence. I LOOOOVE these books, and i hope the series continues!! After Silence there has to be MOOORE !! :) You should read these books. I guarantee 100% satisfaction :)
